Dipperdoo

Dipperdoo is my partner Jackie's website featuring her photographs and thoughts on creativity. Jackie introduces her site as:
Creative energy comes from the beauty of nature
“Our task must be to free ourselves...by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature
and its beauty.” - Albert Einstein
My website is a collection of thoughts and photography; images that seek to connect us to the energy that can be found within nature and society; the world around us.
My sense of purpose comes from a belief that by offering ideas and inspiring images, we are encouraged to find the resources that lie all around us - a lifetimes mission Im sure - but a pursuit that I will truly enjoy - Jackie B

Artic-Colour.com - Patricia Cowern

Patricia came to Porjus (northen Sweden, inside the artic circle) in the summer of 1995, for a holiday with her youngest son, to photograph the nature. After spending three weeks in the forest surrounded by a landscape which had no end, birds, animals and wonderful light, she had completely fallen in love with this wide and wild expanse.
After making several returns visits, each one lasting longer and longer, Patricia made the decision to leave England and buy the old railway station house in Porjus. As well as her home, Porjus became the centre of her photographic work by opening a Photo Gallery in the summer of 1998 in the station house.
During the first year in Porjus Patricia developed a fascination and passion for photographing the very special and unique Arctic Light. So many visitors to the north only see the midnight sun of summer. This is wonderful but to me the best time is during winter.
Her work has been trying to capture on film all of this special winter light. The ever changing spectacle of the northern lights, the array of colours in the pearl clouds, the blue and pink winter days, even the ‘black and white‘ days have their own special quality. In photographic exhibitions and her bildspel “Reflections of Arctic Colour“ Patricia hopes she has given the viewer a glimpse of what she can see through her camera and what she feels about living in this wonderful part of the world !“

Carrie Glenn

Carrie is an artist based in the US who says of her work:
"I enjoy creating bold artwork that moves people. Most of the artwork I create I have seen in a dream, or it is something that enthralls me from life or nature. I really pour my energy, my feelings and a bit of myself into every piece I create. I hope to leave a fingerprint of myself in my work and maybe on a person or two. Because of this I believe my artwork holds a type of life and that this creates a special, personal experience between my artwork and my viewers. I like to keep my relationship between my artwork and myself simple and heartfelt. I create what I love, color, boldness and captivating scenes that I hope captivate others as well."
